The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development aims to empower and integrate persons with disabilities, provide them with all the tools that will help them succeed, and unlock their potential in a way that is commensurate with their capabilities. To achieve that, the HRSD provides them with diverse vocational training programs that fit the abilities and needs of each group. Moreover, employ medical, social, psychological, educational, and vocational services to help persons with disabilities achieve functional effectiveness. Reaching functional effectiveness will help persons with disabilities meet the requirements of their natural and social environments, as well as promote their independence and productiveness.
Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health provides many health services for persons with disabilities through general hospitals, specialized hospitals, treatment services in long-term care hospitals (LTCHs), psychiatric care, as well as medical rehabilitation hospitals, centers, and departments. Such services include Awlawia cards and prosthetic devices.
Ministry of Education
The educational services provided to persons with disabilities come from the National Strategy for the Development of General Education, which affirms the provision of equal learning opportunities for all students with disabilities, regardless of gender, social background, geographical location, or the type of disability.
King Salman Center for Disability Research (KSCD)
It is an agreement to provide research and training services, raise awareness, develop plans, programs, and services for people with disabilities, and organize seminars and conferences.
Linoleum Association for Disability
It is a memorandum of cooperation to support and implement initiatives related to people with disabilities. Such initiatives aim to improve the services provided to people with disabilities in Saudi Arabia, ensure that they have access to their rights, enhance the services provided to them, and raise media awareness to serve people with disabilities.
Social Development Bank (SDB)
It is an agreement to make exceptions for applicants with disabilities in social and business financing products by granting them special privileges and making their application and access to financing easier.
Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing
It is an agreement to raise the quality of services that protect the rights of persons with disabilities in the ownership of a residence as well as develop media campaigns, programs, and initiatives that support the associations of persons
Saudi Health Council
It is a memorandum to improve the health services provided to persons with disabilities. It also aims to cooperate in managing, collecting, and analyzing data; issue periodic reports; study and develop relevant regulations; and provide advisory services.
Institute of Public Administration
The memorandum of cooperation aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two parties in the fields of training, research, consulting and Human Resources Development in accordance with the regulations governing it
King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital
It is a memorandum of understanding to combine efforts and expertise to achieve the desired and common goals for cooperation in a number of national initiatives that concern people with visual disabilities.

It is a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in educating and training persons with disabilities
Human Rights Commission
It is a memorandum of understanding to enhance the joint cooperation between the two parties in protecting the rights of persons with disabilities and achieving the highest standards possible in all areas related to persons with disabilities.

It is a memorandum of cooperation to enhance the joint cooperation between the two parties in education, training, research, and consulting in accordance with the governing regulations.
Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University
It is a memorandum of cooperation to enhance the joint cooperation between the two parties in education, training, research, and consulting in accordance with the governing regulations.
First Division League
It is a memorandum of understanding to empower persons with disabilities and promote their full participation in sports competitions. Moreover, raise community awareness about disability through media awareness and programs that will be provided by both parties.
Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al Qura University
It is a memorandum of understanding to enhance the Hajj and Umrah for persons with disabilities; cooperate in scientific and applied research and advisory studies; train, educate, and empower persons with disabilities in the labor market; and make the university environment accessible for persons with disabilities.
General Commission for Audiovisual Media
It is a memorandum of understanding to enhance media services, make them accessible for persons with disabilities, and increase society's awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities.
Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC)
It is a memorandum between the APD and STC to cooperate in supporting and implementing the national goals that serve the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities in society. Moreover, improve and guarantee the services provided to persons with disabilities in Saudi Arabia, enhance the services provided to them by relevant authorities, and raise media awareness to serve persons with disabilities through the following:
- Forming a working group by the representatives of the two parties for future cooperation and coordination to develop the partnership between the two parties.
- Seeking to highlight the efforts of the other party through the media as well as socially.
State of Kuwait
The Authority of People with Disability (APD) participated in a workshop that was held in Kuwait on March 18-19, 2019, which was titled "challenges faced by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries regarding the classification and diagnosis of persons with disabilities."
Switzerland
The Authority of People with Disability (APD), along with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation, participated in the discussion session of the Human Rights Commission's first report in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) at the 21st session of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Geneva.

The Authority of People with Disability (APD) represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the virtual meeting organized by the League of Arab States and the ESCWA in 2020. The purpose of the meeting was to coordinate with partners and governments to address the repercussions of the "Covid-19" pandemic and support persons with disabilities in Arab countries.

The Authority of People with Disability (APD), along with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation, participated in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) meetings to develop and draft the Unified Guiding Regulation for Empowering Persons with Disabilities in the GCC in 1442 AH, which was subsequently approved at the Gulf Summit in Al-Ula.

The Authority of People with Disability (APD) represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the fourteenth session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which took place from Tuesday, June 15, to Thursday, June 17, 2021, AD. Representatives of the States parties were present at the first session, which was held in the General Assembly Hall at the permanent headquarters of the United Nations in New York. The current session was conducted under the slogan of protecting the rights of persons with disabilities during epidemics and crises.

The Authority of People with Disability (APD) represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the exhibition of Arab inventions and innovations in the field of disability, as well as the Interactive Conference on Technology and Persons with Disabilities, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The event, which was held on December 3, 2021, AD, in conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, was organized by the Ministry of Community Development in the United Arab Emirates and the General Secretariat of theLeague of Arab States. It showcased an inventor who is also a person with a disability.

The Authority of People with Disability (APD) participated in a workshop focused on the classification of disability in the Arab countries, titled "Toward a Common Vision for the Classification of Disability." The workshop was organized by the League of Arab States and the Ministry of Community Development in the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on December 5 and 6, 2021.

The Authority of People with Disability (APD) participated in a webinar titled "Responding to the Needs of Persons with Disabilities in Crisis and Epidemics," held on March 15, 2022, in Cairo, Egypt, as part of the 41st session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs.

The Authority of People with Disability (APD) hosted the second training session on May 23-24, 2022, in coordination with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Social Affairs Sector, Development and Social Policies Department, Technical Secretariat of the Council).

A delegation from the Authority of People with Disability (APD) participated in the fifteenth session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) on June 14-16, 2022. The overarching theme was “Building disability-inclusive and participatory societies in the COVID context and beyond."

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted the 6th Gulf Theater Festival for Persons with Disabilities during the period December 3-8, 2022. The festival aims to promote the integration of persons with disabilities into social, cultural, and art-related events and activities, as well as to offer them the chance to fulfill their aspirations and showcase their talents and abilities in the fields of theater and acting.

The Authority of People with Disability (APD) participated in the international dialogue on accessibility and integration for women in technology, which was hosted by the United Nations office in Saudi Arabia. The event took place on March 9, 2023, in celebration of International Women's Day. It highlighted the challenges faced by women with disabilities and explored how society can make improvements to their quality of life.
Switzerland
The Authority of People with Disability (APD) participated in the 54th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on September 28, 2023. The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations in Geneva, in cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Sweden to the United Nations in Geneva, organized a panel discussion on promoting the human rights of people with disabilities.

On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 2023), the United Nations hosted Dr. Hashem Al Ghaleb at its Riyadh branch. The event, titled "Integration to Explore Progress and Understanding Future Challenges," focused on the impact of the Law of Rights of Persons with Disabilities on the Sustainable Development Goals and other areas.

State of Oman
The Authority of People with Disability (APD) participated in the regional workshop on improving disability statistics in Arab countries, which was organized by ESCWA, in Muscat for four days on September 16. The purpose of this workshop is to enhance the competencies of participants in the production of precise and comparative disability statistics by utilizing the most recent concepts and definitions, as well as principles, standards, and international classifications.

Dr. Ruqaya Ajaj, a researcher in the field of the rights of persons with disabilities, participated in the fifty-seventh session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva with the support of the Authority of People with Disability (APD). She elaborated on the significance of her family and pertinent authorities in providing her with the necessary support and empowerment following her blindness at a young age.
